Combine two of the world's favourite ingredients and what do you get? Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Crisps!

Here is a snack for the entire family to enjoy. It's super simple, no cooking necessary, and comes packed with great fats and carbs to keep you fuelled for a long day out of home. With only 5 minutes of prep time, you'll be in and out of the Kitchen before you know it. 

This recipe can be combined with any of your favourite toppings and extras (doesn't have to be dark chocolate) - just don't forget to adjust your macros! It makes plenty of servings and will last all week in the freezer. 


  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cup Smooth Natural Peanut Butter
  • 3 tablespoons of Rice Malt Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of Table Salt
  • 4 cups of Puffed Brown Rice
  • 6 tablespoons of Dark Chocolate


Step 1 - Melt 1/2 cup of Coconut Oil and 1/2 cup of Smooth Natural Peanut Butter.

Step 2 - Prepare a large mixing bowl and add the melted Coconut Oil and Natural Peanut Butter.

Step 3 - Add in the 3 tablespoons of Rice Malt Syrup and 1 teaspoon of Table Salt.

Step 4 - Mix the ingredients well until fully combined and consistent.

Step 5 - Add 4 cups of Puffed Brown Rice to the mixing bowl and stir through until the Rice is fully coated. 

Step 6 - Line a square baking tray with baking paper. 

Step 7 - Pour the Rice mixture into the tray, spreading evenly with a spatula.

Press firmly with the spatula to compact the mixture.

Step 8 - Store in the freezer for 2 hours. 

Step 9 - Melt 6 tablespoons of Dark Chocolate. Drizzle the Chocolate over the top of the puffed rice tray. 

Step 10 - Store in the freezer for another 2 hours or overnight to fully set. 

 Step 11 - Remove the Rice Crisps from the tray and slice into 12 roughly even pieces.

Store in the freezer for best effect.
