CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BARS (WITH MACROS)

Protein Bars can be an expensive snack, so why not make your own in bulk?

These protein bars taste delicious and will only take you 5 minutes to make as many as you need to last you all week! Just pick a protein flavour and away you go - 5 simple ingredients and 2 hours in the fridge.

Ingredients:

  • 150g of Protein Powder
  • 120g of Almond Flour
  • 120g of Smooth Peanut Butter 
  • 80g of Honey
  • 1/3 cup of Almond Milk

Instructions:

Step 1 - Combine the 150g of Protein Powder and 120g of Almond Flour in a large bowl. 

Step 2 - In a separate bowl, melt 120g of Smooth Peanut Butter and combine with 80g of Honey.

Step 3 - Pour the mixed Peanut Butter and Honey into the large bowl and mix together with the Almond Flour and Protein Powder. 

Step 4 - Once combined, add in 1/3 cup of Almond Milk. Mix until a thick dough is formed. 

Step 5 - Line a tray with baking paper. Add the dough to the tray. 

Step 6 - Using a spoon, spread the dough to the edges of the tray and press down firmly until the dough is compacted well with an even surface. 

Step 7 - Store in the fridge for 2 hours to set. 

Step 8 - Using a knife, cut into 8 even pieces.

Step 9 - Store in the fridge and take out as needed for a great snack.
